What is GORE-TEX technology?
GORE-TEX Product technology features an innovative membrane and carefully selected textiles. These fabrics undergo rigorous testing and proof of quality assessments to create highly effective materials for a variety of use cases but are highly effective for sailing activities. THE MEMBRANE
The GORE-TEX membrane is firmly at the heart of all GORE-TEX products. This membrane is an extremely thin layer of expanded polyethylene (ePE) that is bonded to an outer textile and in some cases bonded to the fabrics lining. The membrane is incredibly waterproof and windproof, but unlike other membranes provides high levels of breathability.
